Young students sit on the floor in a historic room with their backs to the camera. In front of them a Valentine Educator stands showing the students some historic objects.

The Valentine’s field trips incorporate hands-on experiences, inquiry and discovery to bring Richmond history to life for students. A Valentine Educator will lead your class on a tour of the museum with opportunities to visit our exhibition galleries, explore life in the historic Wickham House, and experience hands-on history in our Education Center.  All programs are compatible with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) and are free for Title 1 schools.
