Opening the 2021-22 season of Controversy/History is a conversation that will explore the subtle ways leaders can shape the electorate - including annexation, consolidation and redistricting - and the impact on local elections historically and today. On October 5, experts and the Richmond community come together to explore the event’s topic: “Does Your Vote Count: The Conversation Everyone Needs to Hear.”
Guest speakers include:
- Senator Henry Marsh, III
- Chuck Richardson, former Richmond City Council member
- Dr. William Ferguson Reid, Richmond Crusade of Voters co-founder
- Liz White, Executive Director of OneVirginia2021
The event is free, open to the public, and will be held virtually. Click here to register or click “Purchase Tickets” above (registration is closed).
