Jackson Ward Public Art and History Teacher Professional Development Workshop- SOLD OUT

Explore the historic Jackson Ward neighborhood and learn about the murals and the history of the community once referred to as the Harlem of the South and the Black Wall Street. Home to history-makers such as Giles B. Jackson, Maggie L. Walker, John Mitchell, Jr. and Oliver Hill, just to name a few.

Join the Valentine Teacher Professional Development workshops and learn creative ways to incorporate Richmond stories in your classroom as you explore national and local history. All programs are free and participants will be provided with a $10 gift card to Ms. Bee’s Cafe, a Valentine Membership and Certificate of Professional Development Hours.
