Richmond and the Republic: Court End Neighborhood Walking Tour

In the years following the American Revolution, Court End became an affluent area where power players gathered in close proximity to the newly-established Virginia State Capitol. Valentine walking tours are typically between 1-2 miles in length. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.

Parking is available in the Valentine museum lot at 407 North 10th street. Overflow parking is at the MCV Visitor Parking Deck at 529 N. 12th Street or on the street.
