Home to some of the city’s most beloved cultural hubs, Richmond’s Museum District is a neighborhood that can claim 22 sites on the National Register of Historic Places, multiple museums, and a growing collection of murals and monuments. On this tour we will explore how public art, public spaces and public museums have told the story of our city for over 150 years. Participants will meet at 2:00 for a 90-minute walking tour of the Museum District and end the tour at The Virginia Museum of History & Culture, where participants will have the chance to explore Fresh Paint: Murals Inspired by the Story of Virginia, or save their ticket for a future visit!
Price: $10 for VMHC and Valentine Members, $20 for nonmembers

Parking: On-street Parking or VMHC parking lot

- Valentine walking tours are typically between 1-2 miles in length. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
