RICHMOND, VA – The Valentine invites you to celebrate the holiday season on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 12:00 – 4:00pm in Downtown Richmond.
Winter Wander is the Valentine’s annual free holiday event that brings family fun and activities to our block of East Clay Street. Take a tour of the Court End neighborhood, explore the historic Wickham House, craft holiday cards and ornaments and hop on a horse-drawn carriage for a ride. Visitors can enjoy performances throughout the day from Richmond Ballet’s Minds In Motion Ambassadors, the Fox Elementary School Choir, Virginia Opera’s Tunes & Tales, and Klezm’Or’Ami’m.
Returning again this year is a free trolley that takes visitors from the Valentine to nearby cultural sites for open houses and special tours.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
The Virginia State Capitol
The Valentine First Freedom Center
Main Street Station
The Poe Museum
Masons’ Hall
