Join a Valentine Educator on an interactive exploration of our galleries and historic home. The Valentine’s virtual group tours offer the opportunity to experience our collections from the comfort of your home. This virtual program uses the Zoom meeting platform to connect visitors to the museum in real time. You will be able to ask questions of your guide which will be answered live, making for an interactive experience.

We offer public virtual “Women in the Wickham House” tours every Wednesday at 10. Register through our event calendar.

Groups of 5 or more may schedule a private tour and choose between two virtual tour experiences:

Women in the Wickham House – While the 19th-century Wickham House is closed to the public, go behind-the-scenes as we discuss new research into the lives of the women who lived and worked in the home, and the stark contrasts between their realities as mothers, daughters and enslaved laborers.

This is Richmond, Virginia– What defines a city? Physical boundaries? People? Economy? Government? Shared beliefs? Explore Richmond’s defining characteristics through a look at our core collection.

Program length – 45 mins – 1 hour

Private Group Cost – $75 flat rate. Financial aid may be available to cover qualifying groups’ program fees. Please inquire for more information.
