Join us for family centered programs that engage parents and children of all ages. These programs are scheduled on school holidays and breaks so you can bring the whole family for fun and learn something new about Richmond while you’re here!

Pretty Powerful– Explore color, shape, texture and pattern as we tour the Valentine’s Costume and Textiles exhibition, Pretty Powerful, a celebration of female designers and entrepreneurs in Virginia. Program includes a gallery tour, story time and hands-on craft activity.

$14 for parent/child pair or $10 for members. Ticket includes post program admission to the museum.

From candlesticks to neon lights (and beyond), discover materials and technology that Richmonders have used to illuminate and decorate their homes and businesses. Visit includes a tour of the 1812 Wickham House and Cellars, This is Richmond, VA gallery and a craft.
