Halloween History on Hanover Walking Tour
Our modern Halloween traditions boast costumes, decorations and candy; yet its origins lie in an ancient Celtic holiday and Catholic All Hallows’ celebrations. Join us for a walk along one of Richmond’s most popular spots for Halloween festivities as we learn how this holiday evolved from early colonial practices and how immigrants and events through the years influenced the way Richmonders celebrate in the 21st century.
