Sportswear is comfortable, casual, and supremely functional. It allows for increased athletic performance, ease of movement, and in many cases, can visually align us with our favorite sports team. This Collections Connections Live! will call on athletic clothing from the 19th through the 20th century to examine the many ways Richmonders have dressed to get up and get moving.
