Are you passionate about Richmond and curious to learn about the history that shaped the city we know today? Or brand new to Richmond and just want to absorb as much as possible about what’s made your new hometown the vibrant and diverse city that led you here?

Join us for a deep dive into the region’s past with our six-week course I Know Richmond, a class that takes an in-depth look at Richmond stories with particular emphasis on overlooked history and transforming how we represent Richmond today. This immersive experience will not only build a strong foundation in Richmond history, it will also help you draw connections between the Region’s past and present to deepen your understanding of this dynamic region today.

Secure your spot in our fall 2023 session, October 8 – November 12, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. Students are required to register for all six weeks. Those who attend more than five sessions will receive a certificate of distinction. Registration closes October 1.
