The Valentine is also offering free admission in honor of Sculpting History on Saturday, January 27th and Sunday, January 28th. 

Join the Valentine for the opening of our newest exhibition, Sculpting History at the Valentine Studio: Art, Power, and the “Lost Cause” American Myth which uses evidence to show how Edward Valentine, leaders in Richmond, and others around the country reframed the reality of the Civil War. It uncovers the stories behind the Lost Cause, its legacy, and those who resisted the myth.

Registration is required. This is a public event, normally exclusive to our members. Enjoy the benefits of being a member for the day at this reception.
