At the end of Pride month, we wanted to share the life and work of Richmond legend, J. Alan Cumbey. Cumbey was well known for his beloved writing personas for Style and ThroTTle Magazine but was also a prolific, self-taught artist whose work reflected his identity and experiences as a gay Southerner.
