History Makers in Richmond

Introduce your students to the stories that museums tell with a focus on Virginia history makers, including Pocahontas, Arthur Ashe, Maggie Walker, George Washington.

Program Objectives: Students will compare and contrast, discuss past and present, examine artifacts and identify the stories of individuals who contributed to national, state and local history.

Includes pre-visit materials and videos that provide supplemental content and activities!

  • Virtual visits | $50 flat rate per program
  • Programs are always free for RPS and Title 1 schools. Funding available based on need for other programs upon request.
