CONTEXT

In October of 1902, the Valentine Museum Board adopted two resolutions concerning students and education. The first resolution is to establish that the museum is an important partner to schools and colleges in Richmond. The second resolution is to open the museum up to all teachers and their students in the city and invite them to come to the museum to use as an additional learning opportunity.
