Ken Myers, Director of Operations and Capital Projects, joined the Valentine in 1994. His B.A. in History from Virginia Commonwealth University led him to intern with the Valentine and he has served in various capacities since he began, most recently facilitating much of the renovation and construction projects the Valentine has undertaken.

Haley M. McLaren, Director of Development, joined the Valentine in July 2016. Prior to this role, she served on the prospect research team at the University of Richmond. She previously worked for Richmond Ballet and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in a variety of annual giving and donor relations positions. While originally from the southwestern part of Virginia, Haley has enthusiastically considered Richmond her adopted hometown since graduating from the University of Richmond in 2008. She is a board member of 1708 Gallery and the Carillon Civic Association.
